The 2025 Lamborghini Temerario: A Bold Hybrid Supercar

Ten years after the Lamborghini Huracán's debut, Lamborghini is unveiling its successor, the Temerario. Unlike its predecessors, the Temerario replaces the traditional V-10 engine with a V-8 hybrid powertrain featuring three electric motors. This new design not only modernizes the engine but also enhances aerodynamics and daily usability. With this launch, Lamborghini's entire lineup is now hybrid.

Power and Performance

At the heart of the Temerario is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine, producing 789 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque. The V-8 is paired with three electric motors, bringing the total output to 907 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. This engine can rev up to 10,000 rpm, and the electric motors provide added precision and all-wheel drive.

  • The V-8 engine powers the rear wheels.

  • Two electric motors drive the front wheels, enabling an all-wheel drive mode and allowing electric-only drivingwhen needed.

  • A third electric motor helps smooth out shifts, eliminate turbo lag, and improve acceleration.

  • The Temerario can go from 0 to 62 mph in 2.7 seconds and has a top speed of 213 mph.

Hybrid Power

The electric motors are powered by a 3.8-kWh lithium-ion battery that can be fully recharged in 30 minutes. The car also features regenerative braking, allowing the battery to recharge while driving. Lamborghini claims that this hybrid system reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 50% compared to the Huracán.

Driving Experience

The Temerario offers several driving modes, including Città (City), Strada (Street), Sport, Corsa (Race), and Corsa Plus, allowing you to choose between electric-only driving or maximizing performance. The car also comes with a Drift mode, designed for controlled oversteering and added fun on the road.

Sleek Design

The Temerario retains Lamborghini's signature wedge shape with modern aerodynamic updates. Key design elements include:

  • Hexagonal daytime running lights that help cool the brakes.

  • Large air intakes to feed the engine.

  • A fixed rear spoiler and aggressive diffuser for better performance and stability.

Customization Options

The Temerario is available in over 400 colors through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam customization program. Buyers can also choose from three different wheel designs, carbon-fiber trim, and an array of seat colors and stitching patterns.

For those looking to reduce weight, the Alleggerita package shaves off up to 55 pounds, adding carbon-fiber elements and track-focused components like a redesigned rear spoiler.

Pricing and Availability

Pricing for the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it’s expected to start at around $357,000 and hit the streets in late 2025.

We are super excited to get one of these in the club in the future!
